Employment Opportunities

Graduate Accountant

Each year, GLR has an opening available for an enthusiastic, motivated graduate to join our thriving practice.  This is a full-time role based in our Weston office. Previous experience is not necessary, however those with some experience are also encouraged to contact us.

All training is provided, however a willingness to learn, the ability to work as part of a team, and good communication skills are essential.  We are looking for someone with a great attention to detail, who is interested in working in public practice accounting.

Our graduates learn how to prepare both individual and business tax returns, along with preparation of financial statements, reports and completion of client BAS.

Ongoing training and support is provided via our Structured Pathways, to develop your career and progression within the firm. We also offer support for post-graduate studies and CPD learning.

The ability to hold a 'Standard' strength MyGovID is required.

If you believe you are the right person for a role like this, email your CV and a covering letter to our recruitment team or complete our contact form here.

Trainee Accountant

We have trainee positions available at various time throughout the year, for candidates who are eager to learn and wanting to take the first steps towards pursuing a career in Accounting.

As it is a trainee role, no experience is necessary, however the ability to work effectively in a team environment and a great attention to detail are essential.  Applicants will also need excellent communication skills, both written & verbal.

The position is best suited to someone currently enrolled or planning to enrol, in an Accounting or Finance degree at University. Applicants need to be available a minimum of 3 days per week (Mon-Fri), but your work schedule can be adjusted to suit your uni timetable.  The role is located in our office in Weston.

This is a great opportunity to gain some practical accounting experience, to earn while you learn, and already have a head start when you graduate.
